This weekend I am doing a short trip to San Antonio then to Austin and back to Houston! I need to keep my workout going through the weekend. Maybe the tacos in San Antonio won’t keep me on track, but here are a few things I like to bring along when I am on the road and need some exercise in my life!

OGorgeous.com has a variety of yoga and gym bags that are both stylish and useful! This purple gym bag holds a yoga mat also while storing a water bottle and other accessories needed for workouts! (I don’t recommend putting your running shoes in the bag) In cross country I learned that you tie the laces to both shoes and let them be muddy away from your gym bag.)
This yoga mat is my favorite, for many reasons. The durability is awesome and also very inspirational. It’s also a conversation starter when trying a new studio out! This yoga mat can be found on Blogilates — a spin off of Ogorgeous.com! I basically shop the site for new and innovative styles for the gym!

Speaking of new studio, when you travel, it’s great to find a studio with free yoga classes during your stay but I recommend you keep in mind the amount of people who walk in their without shoes. So I like to bring these fun shoes around. They also help when I am working with the silks in the aerial studios. Nike has these amazing studio shoes, I have the black ones but just love the color of these mint ones. Either way, they work just as good!
Now for running shoes, it all depends on your type of running. I usually go with a Brooks Shoe and I am obsessing with the new shoes I got, they are highlighter and the right fit. These are the PURE CANDICE shoes from Brooks, they have a few miles! I recommend them to everyone!
Keep hydrated at all times! I love working out when I am visiting new cities because it’s something different. If you are located in the San Antonio area, I recommend San Antonio Yoga, if you travel to Houston, there are so many trails to run and my go to studio stop is VauLt! — They do my aerial silks and great instructors! Tomorrow I will be in Austin and will let you know how the studios are out there!
Until next time,
Misty Blu
